New Forests seeks a suitably qualified candidate for the newly created position of Fund Analytics. This position will play a crucial role in supporting New Forests’ asset management activities across the portfolio in the Australia & New Zealand region.
Reporting to the Fund Lead, Australia & New Zealand Landscapes and Forestry Fund, this position will be a valued member of the Asset Management team, responsible for overseeing asset management including valuation review, investor reporting, capital management and acquisition support activities of New Forests and New Agriculture assets in Australia and New Zealand.
The primary focus of this role is to provide analytical support to the ANZLAFF portfolio Asset Management team, and through collaboration with the broader ANZ team striving to optimize portfolio value and further New Forests’ mission for a sustainable future through insightful analysis.
The scope of analytics will encompass both Fund level and Asset level modelling, including Forestry and Carbon specific forecasts and analysis, in addition to generic financial modelling and valuation analysis. Additionally, this can be extended to support sustainability and biodiversity-based analytics where appropriate.
