Salary Range: AUD 70,000-80,000 Base Salary, excluding Superannuation
New Forests Asset Management Pty Ltd is seeking a dynamic and security-focused IT professional to lead frontline support and operational cybersecurity across our global organisation.
Reporting into the Director of Business Services, this role combines hands-on technical support with proactive security oversight, ensuring our globally workforce are productive and protected within a Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud environment.
As a global investment manager of nature-based real assets, New Forests manages a diversified portfolio of sustainable timber plantations, conservation areas, carbon and conservation finance projects, and infrastructure. We aim to generate shared prosperity and accelerate the transition to a sustainable future
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Providing day-to-day IT support for global staff, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues both remotely and in person.
- Support core IT services such as printing, video conferencing, telephony, network access, and mobile device management.
- Oversee IT processes, including employee onboarding and offboarding, system backups and IT policy compliance.
- Implement and maintain security controls across cloud platforms, networks, endpoints, and identity systems.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, including breach analysis and remediation.
- Manage endpoint protection, firewalls, and access controls.
- Coordinate escalations and collaborate with, external IT providers, vendors, and consultants to ensure seamless IT service delivery.
- Maintain operational reporting & compliance, including vendor performance, capacity management, security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
- Lead cyber security awareness initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement in secure IT operations.
- Participate in technology-related projects and foster knowledge sharing across the organisation.
- Performing other IT-related duties as required.
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications, experience, and strengths:
- Degree or certification in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Security Certification such as CompTIA Security+ is advantageous
- Previous experience working with a variety of IT hardware and software, particularly Microsoft 365 and Copilot
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to continuous improvement and threat detection
- Sound understanding of Microsoft SharePoint & Teams, Microsoft Azure & Entra ID, and Microsoft Endpoint services
- Familiarity with network & virtual server environments, cyber-security threats & risk mitigation
- Previous experience providing remote technical support and working as part of a helpdesk will be highly regarded

Senior Analyst, Investor Relations
New Forests seeks a qualified candidate for the position of Senior Analyst, Investor Relations. This role plays a key part in supporting our capital raising efforts by ensuring high-quality investor materials, accurate data management and seamless coordination across internal teams.
Reporting to the Head of Institutional Fundraising (ANZ), this position is a critical support role to the success of New Forests’ global capital raise, client services and communications teams. This role will assist with managing due diligence questionnaires, editing and helping to create content for marketing collateral (presentations, research papers, flyers, case studies, etc.), helping create and assisting with event and conference coordination.
This role may be based in either our Sydney or Melbourne office.
