Analyst, Investments
New Forests seeks a self-motivated individual for this full-time position. Working within the Investments team focused on Australia and New Zealand, you will be given broad exposure to investment activity across natural capital investments including forestry, agriculture, carbon and related infrastructure.
This role would suit a recent graduate or those with 1-3 years’ transactions experience and an interest in natural capital investments. To be successful in this role, you will have a calm and orderly approach to uncertain and changing priorities, seek and accept responsibility for defined tasks and will demonstrate an ability to absorb more responsibility over time. You will thrive on working in a team environment towards a common goal, have a flexible style, fantastic communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of teams that come together for specific projects.

Fund Lead – Asset Management
New Forests seeks a qualified candidate for the position of Associate Director, U.S. Asset Management to join its growing team as a Fund Lead. The role will be critical in supporting the ongoing operation and growth of New Forests’ U.S. strategy. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nature-based solutions to environmental challenges, have a strong background in forestry and finance, and enjoy working as part of a team. In this role you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of assets that are designed to deliver positive environmental outcomes and positive financial returns. This role is a remote position that includes travel as required to fulfill role-specific responsibilities. While primarily remote, it also involves occasional in-person participation in broader team meetings.
